The Polished Concrete Natural / Plain Finish highlights the existing surface of the concrete floor.

This system is not always an option for clients as, to obtain a good result, the floor to be polished must be well placed. Any areas of floor which are not level will remain un-level and any attempts by the applicator to level uneven surfaces by grinding will result in patches of exposed stone, which is generally not the desired outcome.

Existing light and dark areas within the floor, which are created during the kelly floating stage of placing, are of benefit when considering the final finish of the floor as such areas produce a naturally textured look on the finished polished concrete.
